Jung-Tae Lee is a researcher in the Research Institute of Computer Information and Communication at Korea University, supervised by Prof. Hae-Chang Rim. Jung-Tae received his Ph.D. from Korea University in 2012. He also received his M.Sc. and B.Eng. from the same university in 2008 and 2006 respectively. Jung-Tae is broadly interested in information retrieval and its applications. He has worked on various problems related to social media search, opinion mining, contextual advertising, and spam filtering. In 2011, Jung-Tae has worked as a summer intern at Microsoft Research in Redmond, WA, USA, with Sumit Gulwani and Adam Kalai on automating conditional arithmetic computations in Excel spreadsheets. From August 2010 to February 2011, he has interned at Microsoft Research Asia in Beijing, China, with Chin-Yew Lin on mining high-quality contents in online forums. Jung-Tae was one of the recipients of Microsoft Research Asia Ph.D. Fellowship in 2009. |
